I LOVE Mister Zimi. The colours, the patterns, the lifestyle & now the Villa in Bali, (of all the dream places I am dying to visit!) where the brand itself fully came to life. The home has an eclectic-tropical vibe which I love & features many of the fabrics from the Mister Zimi collection over the years. Scroll through for the rest of the tour!

I adore that wall mural and the blue & yellow tiles in each of the bathrooms are so stunning.

Massive home inspo for your Wednesday!

'Tis the season to be jolly- and jolly to me means lots of festive baking! These cute wee snowmen & ladies were a lot harder to create than I had imagined they would be, lots of fiddly finnicky work! They didn't come out quite as smooth-looking as I had intended, but their homemade quality is what makes them unique right!?

With only two & a half more working days to go, I could not be more excited for the holidays! I hope you are able to enjoy this silly season, minus the stress that tends to come with it!!

Studio Diy is a website filled to the brim with beautiful travel imagery & fun DIYs and this recent bedroom makeover is no exception from their usual MO. It just so happens to be one of the happiest wee bedrooms I have laid my eyes on! It's such a simple design, but just goes to show how an all white base & colourful accessories can make such an impact.

That wee puppy is just way too cute sitting pretty amoungst those must have cushions (the one on the right has gone straight to the top of my to-buy list!)

I'm thinking a linen/pillow overhaul is required at my place!

Hello! Happy hump day to you, I hope you are having a zinger of a day! Today I am sharing with you a stunning home, that is bright, happy & inviting. Filled with classic pieces of furniture & colourful artwork & florals, this home has a super welcoming homely feel to it.

I can just imagine long breakfasts spent at the dining table, or summer evenings surrounded by family & friends with plenty of good food & wine!

Gosh I love this time of year. From the multiple parties, the bbqs, the fantastic florals & delicious cocktails, it beats any other time of year by a mile. My weekend was filled with just that.

Now the countdown to Christmas is well & truly on- one more weekend to go!

Hope yours was just as fun filled :)

I am back with a bit of kitchen loving for your Friday. I came across this kitchen a wee while ago & decidedly fairly quickly that this is in fact, my absolute DREAM kitchen.

From those gorgeous copper pendants & white subway tile...

To the pink kitchen aid & tropical vibe, I don't think I have ever loved a kitchen more!!

Plus that Turkish rug is also pretty darn cool & adds some vibrance & intrigue to this otherwise calm space.

What do you think?? Too white or just right?

Lately, I have been crushing hard on the colourful marble work from Astella Designs. The beautiful pieces have a magical, dreamy like quality to them, adding vibrance & colour to any interior space.

These pieces are so beautiful. My only wish is that I had my own space to put them in!

Happy hump day to you, I hope your week has been treating you well.

Hello! My goodness it has been awhile since I popped on here. It has me feeling pretty slack, but I promise I do have a good excuse for it. Between preparing for my three month jaunt through Europe, the travel itself & the month it has taken me to settle back into everyday life, we have arrived at now!

I could not have had a better time on my overseas adventures & feel very lucky to have experienced so much in such a small amount of time. I feel blessed to have made it home safely & am counting down the days until I can venture back.

I do hope to share some of my adventures & photos here-- however there are thousands of photos I must go through to do so!!

Life has been fairly busy as of late, with this silly season well & truly upon us. I took the opportunity this past weekend to have some chill time, booked in a much needed hair appointment, caught up with friends & enjoyed the beautiful weather. I am looking forward to a summer break in only a few short weeks. I have a fair bit planned & cannot wait for those long hot summer days of my childhood spent at the beach.... The countdown is on!

Until then, follow along here.

Quick & cheerful post from me today with this happy (hippy) home tour.

I love the explosion of colour & pattern, from the art on the walls, to the clothes in the wardrobe, not one spot is left without the colourful treatment!

I'll be back with a bit more on my weekend tomorrow :)

Scandinavian design is everywhere. The ever-popular design style has filtered throughout the world & is now a common design scheme found throughout many a home, especially here in New Zealand. Whilst I am partial to aspects of the design style & can certainly appreciate it, it doesn't resonate with me as other design styles have.

When I stumbled across the above image during a 'pink couch' search on Pinterest, I was immediately drawn in. After scrolling through a number of gorgeous images of the rest of the apartment, I can honestly say this is the type of Scandinavian design I am most partial to!

I love how the books on the shelving add colour & interest to the crisp walls.

All white everythang. Walls, doors & floors all get the white treatment, however the apartment feels anything but sterile. There is a warmth & homeliness to the space which is extremely appealing!

This looks like a well organised kitchen- everything has a home & can be easily found!

Pops of yellow & real life greenery create a citrusy fresh feel for the bedroom.

What do you think- are you a fan of this minimally fun style!?

I have been a bit slack around these ways lately & haven't thrown up a Weekenders post in a few weeks, so thought I would put up a mid-week version!

I have been impressed once again by Kmart's new influx of homewares -- there hasn't been an update in some time, but the past few times I have been for a mosey there is always something new to get excited about. I am aware the Kmart Craze has buttoned off, with many people disgusted at it's supposed 'rip-off' of designers & trend makers, but the few small things I pick up are super affordable & such a quick & easy way to add something fun to the home, I really don't see the harm! This adorable ceramic pot & faux succulent was too cute to pass up- bonus that it requires no care!

I also spent most of my Wednesday catching up on this hilariously quirky mystery podcast. I love a good mystery podcast & this one is no exception! Plus the graphics are also pretty darn fabulous.

I hope your week is going swimmingly. I myself am counting down the hours to a weekend getaway, lets hope it flies by!

I am not normally attracted to pastel colours, but there was something about this home & the use of bright colours with the pastels, that really appealed to me.

White washed floors & crisp white walls give the space a large open feel, whilst allowing the clever use of colour to really stand out. Those pastel pink chairs also look ridiculously comfortable!

Greenery is also a huge part of this home design, making the space feel fresh & clean.

So spacious & appealing, don't you think?

I am super happy the end of the week is here- although it has sped by so quickly!

Hoping you have a good weekend ahead of you :)

I know that abstract art tends to get a bit of a bad rep. It has been said that the lack of structure is difficult on the eye & at times, as though a toddler could have achieved the same look. I could not disagree with these sentiments more! There is something so whimsical & fluid about abstract works- I am particularly partial to ones that experiment with bright colour combinations & watercolour. So when I stumbled across these works by Prudence Caroline, I was in instant awe.

(Images via MYNE by prudence caroline)

Insanely good, amiright!? The scale of works are perfect, as is the light wood framing, which works so well with each of the works. The styling is pretty on point too ;)

When I come across a new artist, I tend to get a bit stalkery & have to find out anything I can about them & what makes them tick. Her works are available here & you can follow her here

Hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!
