I am experiencing major bedroom envy over this gorgeous space. From the shelving-meets-headboard stacked with books & magazines, to the concrete floors & that gorgeous ombre blanket, there is so much to love (& to look at)!

This relatively large room is able to be divided up into different specialist areas- an area for sleeping, one for relaxing & a one for working. What could me more perfect than that?

A close-up of the 'relax' area. I love the boho-vintage vibe of the space that is eclectic & vibrant but throughtful & well considered at the same time!

Hoping your hump day is a goodie :)

A wee bit of eye candy for your Tuesday morning!

(Images via Amber Interiors)

It always intrigues me how homes by the beach are decorated- do you go the cliche route of the beach vibe or do the complete opposite? I think this home sits nicely in the middle of this concept, with lots of personal bits & bobs thrown in for good measure.

A bit of foodie inspiration for your Tuesday! I am a big lover of Mexican food & when I spotted these insanely delicious looking tacos online yesterday I swear my mouth started to water.

One of the things I love about Mexican food is that not only does it taste absolutely delicious, the colours are also pretty darn beautiful too! I always end up a bit of a mess after devouring a taco or two, but isn't that a sign of a meal well enjoyed!?

Happy Tuesday!

Oh how I love the weekend. Don't get me wrong, I love my job but the weekend is always more than welcome in my books!

This past weekend was spent trying to make summer last as long as I possibly can... I pulled out the denim shorts (probably for the last time!) and whilst my legs were goosebumping, it was absolutely glorious to lay out in the warmth of the sun. I foraged for florals, whipped up some feijoa slice & read in the sun till my hearts content.

And although it may be raining on this grizzly Monday morning where I am, I hope your Monday treats you well!

You may or may not have noticed my complete affinity for pink. It's something that started from a very young age, & is yet to make a departure. Just quietly I think the love is an everlasting one <3

When I saw this bedroom styled over on Style by Emily Henderson yesterday, I swear I actually felt my eyes light up! A complete boho sanctuary, I love the use of the rattan artwork which successfully & uniquely takes the place of the headboard. The different patterns used in the bedding is incredibly  inviting & I love the repitition of the pink velvet used in the cushion & the amazing hanging bedside lamp- she's a real beauty!

I hope you are having a wonderful Friday- I am off to the beach for the weekend & I cannot wait for 4.30!

That image you see right there? It has been haunting my dreams for months.
I came across it on Pinterest & as corny as it may sound, it really spoke to me. With a bright pink backdrop, this exterior courtyard has been decorated with gorgeous textiles & furniture that give it a very moroccan vibe. I can just picture spending long Saturday afternoons that merge into evenings with friends & cocktails, or lazy Sundays spent flicking through magazines. Of course, I had to see what the rest of the home was like, & I was certainly not disappointed...

This beautiful Santa Barbara home is so eye catching & intriguing to me because of its exotic, other worldly flair. A collection of interior furnishings & textiles from the owners extensive travels throughout India, Morocco, South America & Bali are displayed against a fresh all-white backdrop.

That fireplace is pretty darn stunning & I love how the decorator has been unafraid to use the ledge for candles, photo frames & other decor.

Beautiful pots for days!

The home is situated right on the beach, could it be any more perfect!?

Whilst cruising the internet this morning, I came across these photos of Erin Foster's LA home. I love the use of bold, saturated colour against the crisp white backgrounds.

Smaller twin coffee tables as opposed to one larger coffee table are a great way of making the space seem bigger.

Indigo cushion perfection.

The perfect wee eating/reading/chilling nook.

Juju hats are the ultimate. One day I will be the proud owner of one, but for now I shall admire their goodness them in other people's homes.

I have never seen one up in a bathroom before, but I have to admit it does seem like the perfect place for it!

This past weekend I was lucky enough to go to the Ed Sheeran concert with my best friend. We made a weekend away of it, spending our days mooching around the shops, eating way too much good food & having the best time in general.

Ed absolutely blew us away with his surprisingly high energy, goosebump inducing performance. It was pretty incredible & we spent the remainder of the weekend floating around on cloud nine!

His incredibly sexy voice & absolute good guy, down to earthness truly make him one of the biggest babes in the industry. So in love <3

Tristan Eaton is an LA based street artist, who has murals located in New York, Hawaii, LA and Paris. His large scale works can also be found as a permanent collection of the New York Museum of Modern Art. His works are an amalgamation of all of his favourites - comics, graffitti & skateboard culture.

Here he sums up street art beautifully:

'Public art has the ability to inspire and transform our communities.'

I could not agree more.

On an altogether different note, I just want to declare my love for short weeks. Friday has come round so quickly after the long Easter weekend & I have an extremely exciting weekend planned, which I will share more about on Monday!

Hope your weekend is looking mighty fine.

I have seen many works by talented Australian artist Emma Gale whirling round the internet & on pinterest, but never knew who the artist was until this article over on Adore Home Magazine.

A colour & pattern addict (just like me!), Emma is a mixed media artist who loves to explore with the use of a range of different materials from feathers, pencils, crayons & really anything that takes her fancy. Her works are bold & colourful & add a lively beauty to any space.

Then there is her love for Frida Kahlo. Mesmerised with the life of this spectacular woman who has come to be her muse, she dreams up beautiful garments & neckpieces to adorn her works of her.

On a side note, I love the use of the bohemian inspired design pieces to really make Emma's works pop & show the types of inspired room her works fit so well with. So B E A U T I F U L.

Hope your Tuesday has been a beauty!
