When I came across these images, I just could not stop looking at all the little details. Every time I went back to an image I spotted something I hadn't yet seen before. All these wonderful details come together to create a really dramatic, yet fun, yet masculine, yet graphic space that is truly something special.

The carpet throughout the living/dining/kitchen areas is truly outstanding. I could not think of a better way to ground the entire space. It is heavenly.

I love that the bedroom is a lot moodier, featuring black, white, greys & a splash of gold to enhance the feeling of luxury. It mimicks the decadence of a designer hotel- definitely a great place to retreat to at night!

I love a good geometric print & when I stumbled across these towels from Ziporah, my heartbeat may have skipped a few beats! With a variety of crazy cool colour combinations for the colour lovers out there & also a chic monochrome option, these geometrics are bound to bring that effortlessly stylish look to any modern bathroom. I fancy some of the cute wee hand towels to add a bit of pizazz to my own bathroom.

Which would you choose?

Happy hump day to you!

Just thought I would pop in today with this amazing (& quick!) way of adding a bit of oomph to any plain wall. It's fairly easy & fuss free too- the more imperfect the large spot the better!! Whilst I love this chartreuse colour I can also imagine it in a more subtle grey or contrasty black. What do you think?

First things first: W O W. These images absolutely blew my socks off! Vivid colours, beautiful patterns, gorgeous models & some extremely exotic scarves make for the best kind of photoshoot.

Letitia Green has just launched her new range of these beautiful crepe de chine scarves, featuring her bold hand illustrated designs & distinctive smack of colour. She is featured over on The Design Files Today. Talk about inspiring.

I am still in absolute awe of these images & could stay staring at them for days.
Follow her on instagram here for more beautiful imagery & peeks of those fantastic scarves.

I love how this home has such a range of styles mashed together to create an altogether luxurious feel. From the modern artwork, bohemian cushions & chandelier, to the luxe tapware & surrounding plants. This whole home is a well-thought work of art in itself.

It was a long weekend here for us in the north of New Zealand which means this week is going to fly by- just the kind of week I love!

Hope your day is beyond amazing!

Let me fill you in on a little secret. I have a thing for arches. Whether it be garden arches, interior arches, heck, exterior arches even. If it's an arch it's guranteed I am going to love it. So when I came across these photos of this archway leading through to this beautiful lounge room, I had to share.

Plus I mean, is there anything better than a lounge room that houses a hammock? I think not. Sure, it could go wrong so darn easily. But this my friends is a hammock-in-lounge situation done right. So right.

What are your feelings on the arch? Too dated for you? I'd love to know your thoughts!

One thing that I just cannot resist when it comes to interiors: ECLECTICISM. Which really isn't one thing at all; its a bunch of different things creating an altogether unique look. Sure, there are plenty of eclectic homes out there, but the best thing about them is that they are all SO different with a mashup of completely different interior styles, depending on the inhabitants. Or the designer.

This home is a well-thought fusion of some of my favourite styles:
Bohemian, chic & fashion oriented. Can I get a heeeell yeah!?

First up: A range of colourful patterned cushions? Check.

Wooden coffee table? Check.

A range of differnt style chairs? Double check.

Greenery? Check.

And this is just the lounge room.

Juju hat. Dont these babies look gorgeous in the same colour as the wall? We have TEXTURE ladies & gentleman.

Ahh, that artwork. SO GOOD. So exotic.

Hydrangeas are always a good sign, wouldn't you agree?

Architectural freestanding lamp is of course, an absolute must. Though perhaps I would have preferred a bigger shade. Semantics though.

This pendant is the bomb, I am telling you. Structural yet natural & beautifully detailed. Is that even a thing? It sure is now!

Marble matched with this beautifully coloured kilim? I think I am in heaven folks.

This house has a booth!? I mean come on, this is getting a bit crazy how in tune this place is with my mind. Every home must have a booth to enjoy long breakfasts over. It is an absolute necessity.

Oh, and a snuggly wall nook is important too.

I think it's fair to say that I could ABSOLUTELY see myself living here. When can I move in!?

Well a Happy New Year to you! It's been awhile hasn't it? I'd like to say I had a good reason for denying so much of my time to the blog, but I have no good excuse except for well, life. Life got in the way of me putting time into this beautifully personal space of mine, as it tends to do. But I am back & really, that's all that matters doesn't it?

I can't wait to get back into posting my favourite fashions, styles, wants, instagrams & most of all INTERIORS. I have some good news about this coming soon (!!)
But for now let's talk about New Years Resolutions.

Do you have any?

This year, instead of giving myself some resolutions which I almost never stick to & quite honestly forget about within days of allocating them to myself, I have decided to give myself a word.

This year, I want to think about things a little less & to live more in the moment, take risks & opportunities I might otherwise think too much about. I want to do what makes my heart happy, whatever that may be.

So here's to living life a bit more spontaneously, a bit more freely, mixed in with a whole lot of happy's!
