ADVENTURE // MY STYLE

I haven't done a style post in a while & this one was certainly not intentional! My mum & I hopped in the car for a wee adventure out to a beach we love but don't spend much time on. With new housing developments popping up on much of the free land surrounding it, we spent a great deal of time driving around & looking at the new properties. 

We had lunch right on the marina & drove to a couple spots along the beach. On the way we passed this pretty incredible line of rocks with some really intriguing formations that we just had to stop for a quick few photographs! This dress is a favourite (old Glassons) & seems to get pulled out for all the best occasions. The typical LBD, this dress is fun, flirty & a whole lotta cool.

 My super cool necklace is from Cush & Nooks & I love it. It adds just the right amount of colour & pizzazz to any outfit!

ENTERTAIN ME // INTERIOR

This bold space in some of my favourite colours is actually a converted garage, can you beleive?! Now a chic entertaining area, this happy space is filled with comfy seating, beautiful artwork & fresh greenery- perfect for a wee real-life getaway! 

Of course no entertaining spot is complete without a bar complete with a selection of cocktail ready glasses & mixers- this gorgeous space is no exception.

Don't mind if I pour myself some of that delicious looking concoction & settle down in that comfy butterfly chair for a spot of reading for an hour or two!

BOHO CHIC // THINGS I LOVE

There's nothing I love more than scouring the internet for all sorts of interior & fashion inspiration. I come across so many breathtaking & heart pounding things, that I thought I would start to share some of these items here. 

There's a bit of a theme with this post it seems! As we start to come in to winter I am clinging to bright summer colours & happy boho beach vibes- tassels, lace & pineapples is what it's all about this week (and just a touch of wanderlust!)

GOOD VIBES // THE WEEKENDER

Another goodie of a weekend has just passed us by, with this one the end of daylight savings! I have to admit that I am enjoying the extra hour of sleep in the mornings, though the feeling wont last long.

WORKING GIRL // ART

I came across some of these gorgeous water colour artworks on Pinterest (what's new!) the other day & couldnt stop thinking about how fresh & vibrant they were so decided they must be shared! 

Creative textile design studio Working Girl Designs is a New York based studio who specialise in hand painted & computer generated designs. Having been featured in exhibitions throughout the world, its not hard to see why they have such a cult-like following!

OLDIE // INTERIOR

Now this home feature is an oldie. But oldies can quite often be goodies, am I right? Featured on the Design Files back in 2011, there are so many elements of this house that are still so current. Not that 2011 was that long, but it just goes to show how good style really & truly is timeless.

Love a coloured front door & this kelly green is just the happiest. Such a great way to put a smile on ones dial before entering the home!

                            And who doesn't love a pink kitchen (Yes, I am looking at you Mum!)

This outdoor area is to die for. I can imagine spending all summer long out here sunning, reading, splashing about & a whole lotta great entertaining & parties!

COLOUR RUN FUN // THE WEEKENDER

I have just returned from Wellington extremely exhausted, but also extremely happy. My weekend was a full on one, but one I enjoyed SO much. It was so lovely to see some of my favourites again & spend time exploring much of the wider Wellington area. Of course there was lots of good food, plenty of drinks enjoyed, new friends made & all round good times topped off with The Colour Run a.k.a the happiest 5km in the world- I can guarantee that it really was a ton of fun! Who doesnt want to be covered in colourful powder? The best!

I'm off to catch some ZZZZZZ's. Big love!
